Read Aloud Read the book aloud as children
follow along. Pause to verify comprehension and

• Pages 3–4 What does Ana need so she
can ride her bike? (Ana needs a helmet.)
• Pages 5–7 What does Ana need to do
every day? (Ana needs to practice every
day.)
• Page 8 What happens in the end? (Ana
can ride her bike.)
