Recognize rapid progression of disease severity early
Manage patients with SJS/TEN appropriately

Recognize the updates in stroke care at St. Jude Medical Center including the changes in the
transfer process
Summarize the updates in regionalization of stroke care and recognize the available clinical
trials in the community
Avoid missing subtypes of strokes by diagnosing timely and appropriately
Follow surgical indications for stroke and choose appropriate treatment options
Navigate language barriers and communicate effectively to perform a thorough history
Identify patients who are at an increased risk of stroke and counsel them about prevention
