What People are Saying About
The Search for Peace in Times of Chaos

One of our common interests is comparing religions. I studied the
subject through the PhD level. I have never seen a more comprehensive
study. Congratulations for a job well done! When we get past the words
of any religion, we always find the same thing—a God who has spoken
in a thousand tongues for all to hear. We have heard Your voice and feel
You in our separate ways. But You, our Lord, You are One, although
each of us may see you differently.

Normally, one might be suspicious about a book on world religions
written by a minister’s wife, but Robyn Lebron’s effort here is to be
lauded by the interfaith community. Her ability to sift through the
complexities of the various doctrines of the various sects of the various
denominations of the various religions of the world is impressive, to say
the least. It’s quite readable for the lay person and offers appropriate
sources for those who wish to dig deeper.

This book was read and reviewed by the church to see if it would be
suitable for inclusion in the church in contributing to interfaith dialogue.
We found it to be very insightful, and it is a useful book for the serious
student of religion as well as for the person who simply wants to know
what others believe. Great job, Robyn Lebron.
