ABSTRACT:
This research analyze.s factors affectint! the income of households living around Sonneratia
forests' under Ihe sustainable liNclihood approach. This research uses a multivariate linear
recession model to analyze data collected from 210 households living nearby Sonneratia forests
in the Mekong Delta. This research finds out that (i) financial capital, (ii) social capital, (in) human
capini (iv) physical capital and (v) natural capital are factors affecting die income of these
households The research also provides policy implications, creating a scientiflc basis for policy
raakin" in order to increase the income of households living around Sonneratia forests.
