Report on trip to the New Forest: 07 April
Getting there
The college hired a coach which picked up the 25 students from Class H3 outside
the college and took us to the New Forest. The journey took approximately forty
minutes. The coach was comfortable and had Wi-Fi. Travelling by coach was a very
efficient way of getting a group of people to the destination.
Choice of activities
At the New Forest, there are three activities to choose from: walking, cycling and
horse riding. Most students went for horse riding and it was a new activity for nearly
everyone. We were given a short lesson and then we rode into the forest on our
horses. It was fantastic to learn a new activity and to see the beautiful forest.
Recommendations for future trip
Most students in class H3 suggest going to a music festival for the next class trip.
Everyone enjoys music and most festivals have several bands on at the same time so
there is a choice. Many festivals also have workshops where people can learn to play
the drums, make kites, or even cook something.
