I. VIẾT LẠI CÂU SAO CHO NGHĨA KO ĐỔI
1. Câu so sánh:
a. Đổi câu so sánh ko bằng nhau <=> câu so sánh hơn (hoặc dùng
adj trái nghĩa)
A ko bằng B => B hơn A
=> A kém B
Eg: - Minh isn’t as tall as Duy
=> Duy is taller than Minh
=> Minh is shorter than Duy
- Nhu runs faster than B.Anh
=> B.Anh
=> Nhu
b. Đổi câu so sánh nhất <=> câu so sánh ko bằng nhau, so sánh
hơn ở phủ định
A là nhất trong …. => ko ai trong … hơn A hoặc bằng A
S Eg: - Huy is the tallest in class 8A
=> Noone in class 8A is taller than Huy
=> Noone in class 8A is as tall as Huy
2. Phrasal verbs (cụm động từ)/ synonyms (từ đồng nghĩa)/
antonyms (từ trái nghĩa)/ verbs of liking (V chỉ sở thích)
a. Verbs of liking (V chỉ sở thích):
(+) Thích: S + adore (love, enjoy, fancy, don’t/ doesn’t mind) + V-ing/
N(cụ thể)
= S + be + interested in/ fond of/ keen on/ hooked on/ crazy about/
excited about/ addicted to + V-ing/ N(cụ thể)
= S + be a big fan of + V-ing/ N(cụ thể)
= N(cụ thể) + be + right up (my) street

S + dislike (don’t/ doesn’t like, detest, hate, disgust) + V-ing/ N(cụ thể)

b. S + prefer + N/ V-ing + to + N/ V-ing: thích người/ việc này hơn
người/ việc kia
= S + like + N/ V-ing + better than + N/ V-ing
Eg: - San likes learning with Giang better than playing with Hieu


=> San prefers learning with Giang to playing with Hieu
- Nhu likes Duy better than Minh
=> Nhu prefers Duy to Minh

1. Các chú ý trong dạng bài đặt câu hỏi với từ gạch chân
1. Nhìn vào phần gạch chân để xác định từ để hỏi.
2. Nếu V(main) là:
• Vo/ Vs,es => dùng trợ là “do/ does” … + Vo
Eg: Hai watches football everyday.
=> What does Hai do everyday?
• V-ed/ V2 => dùng trợ là “did” … + Vo
Eg: Minh played ping pong last night.
=> When did Minh play ping pong
• Cịn nếu V(main) là: “be”, “V khuyết thiếu”, ta chỉ cần đảo “be”,
“V khuyết thiếu” lên trước chủ ngữ và sau từ để hỏi:
Eg: She is planting trees in the garden now.
=> Where is she planting trees now?
• Nếu trong câu đề ra dùng những từ sau thì khi chuyển sang câu hỏi
ta phải đổi tương ứng như sau:
a. I, We => You

b. me, us => you
c. mine, ours => yours
d. my, our => your
e. some => any
• Từ gạch chân ko xuất hiện trong câu hỏi
2. Các từ để hỏi thường gặp trong Tiếng Anh
• What: cái gì (Dùng để hỏi cho đồ vật, sự vật, sự kiện...)
• Which: cái mà (Dùng để hỏi khi có sự lựa chọn)
• Where: ở đâu (Dùng để hỏi cho vị trí, nơi chốn ...)
• When: khi nào (Hỏi cho thời gian, thời điểm ...)
• Who: ai, người mà (Hỏi cho người)
=> Whom: người mà (Hỏi cho tân ngữ chỉ người)
Eg: I buy him some books.
=> Who/ Whom do you buy any books (for)?
• Whose: của người mà (Hỏi cho tính từ sở hữu, sở hữu cách, đại từ sở
hữu)
Eg: This is her pen?
=> Whose pen is this?
• Why: tại sao (Hỏi cho lí do, ngun nhân)
• How: thế nào (Hỏi cho tính từ, trạng từ, sức khoẻ ...)
• How old: hỏi cho tuổi
• How tall: hỏi cho chiều cao của người
• How high: hỏi cho chiều cao của vật
• How thick: hỏi cho độ dày
• How thin: hỏi cho độ mỏng
• How big: hỏi cho độ lớn
• How wide: hỏi cho độ rộng
• How broad: hỏi cho bề rộng
• How deep: hỏi cho độ sâu

• How fast: hỏi cho tốc độ
• How far ... from ... to ...: hỏi cho độ xa

Eg: This ruler is 20 centimeters long.

=> How long: hỏi cho thời gian bao lâu
Eg: It takes me an hour to do my homework.

(Nó lấy mất của bạn bao nhiêu thời gian để làm bài tập về nhà?)
How often: hỏi cho mức độ, tần suất, số lần
Eg: I go to school every day.
=> How often do you go to school?
How much: hỏi cho giá cả
Eg: This book is 3$.
=> How much is this book?
=> How much does this book cost?
=> What is the price of this book?
How much + N (ko đếm được): hỏi cho số lượng


Eg: There is some water in the bottle.
=> How much water is there in the bottle?
How many + N(es, s): hỏi cho số lượng với danh từ đếm được
Eg: There are two pens on the table.
=> How many pens are there on the table?
Eg: I have a pen here.
=> How many pens do you have here?
What’s the weather like?: hỏi cho thời tiết
What color: hỏi cho màu sắc
What size: hỏi cho kích cỡ
