Our I Spy Beginning Sounds activity helps children identify initial sounds and practice phonics!
Please note that the directions contain affiliate links.

Prep:
Step 1: Print all pages 5-30 in black and white.
Step 2: Use the pages as is for a worksheet or laminate/insert into a page protectors to make reusable.
Step 3: Gather crayons / markers for the worksheet or whiteboard markers if you laminated them.

Directions:
Step 1: Read the title at the top and the directions on the page to determine the focus letter. What sound(s) does
that letter make?
Step 2: F
the initial sound really well. Then color the picture.

Step 3: Continue step 2 until you have found every picture that starts with the same sound as the focus letter.

(Please note that for the letter X you will find pictures that either start or end with x.)
