1. Giới thiệu bản thân (Introduce yourself)
Hello, I am Thuy Linh from Thanh Hoa. I am 18
years old. I am a freshman at Hong Duc University.
My major is banking and finance. My family has 5
people: my parents, my brother, my sister and
me. Everyone loves me and of course, I also love
them so much. My favorite hobbies are listening to
teen and romantic music while reading their lyrics.
Listening to music helps me relax after a hardworking studying day. Good to meet you!
2. Người thân trong GĐ ( Family members)
In my family, the person I love most is my mother.
She is a good woman. She is housewife. Almost
everything in the house was well arranged by my
mother.  Mother’s time is mostly spent with family
and children.  My mother has long black hair. My
mother is over 50 this year. She always tries to get on
well with people who live next door and help
everyone when they are in difficulties, so most of

them respect and love her.  I am very happy to have a
mother like my mother.

3. Bạn thân (best friend)
The person that I consider my closest friend is Quynh
Anh. We've been best friends since kindergarten. Quynh
Anh has beautiful tanned skin and black eyes. We
usually meet after school and during weekends. She is a
very friendly and helpful friend. The reason why I
become close to Quynh Anh is that I can always trust
and confide in her. Quynh Anh is a good friend that I
will always treasure. I hope that we can be friends for a
long time.
4. Ngày yêu thích (Favorite day)
The weekend is an occasion that everyone is looking
forward to. A tiring working week always needs a
weekend to relax. On weekends I will wake up later than
usual. The feeling of getting enough sleep helps me feel
well.  After breakfast, I started cleaning and cook rice.
From time to time, I also spend time on weekends going
out to shop and eat. Sunday is a good time for me. It
refreshes my mind › after a week’s hard work. It's great !
5. Ngôi nhà của em ( My house)
My house is located near the center of Thanh Hoa
city. My house is small but it is very beautiful. It has a
living room, a kitchen, three bedrooms and two
bathrooms. In the living room, there is a table, a set of
sofa table, a big TV and an air conditioner. The kitchen
has a refrigerator, a stove and a sink. Next to the kitchen
is the bathroom. It has a shower, a washing machine and
a tub. Besides, my house also has a small garden to grow

vegetables. My house is very simple, but it is the most
comfortable place for me.
6. Quê Hương (Hometown)
My hometown is in Thanh Hoa, it's a peaceful and
quiet place. Thanh Hoa is a tourist destination with
many beautiful landscapes and beaches. Those
landscapes and beaches can be Sam Son beach, Ho
citadel, Ba Trieu temple and countless other beautiful
scenes.  Referring to Thanh Hoa, it is impossible not to
mention the specialty of Thanh Hoa spring rolls. One of
the most delicious specialties when traveling to Thanh
Hoa. In addition, the people of Thanh Hoa are also very
friendly and sociable. They are always ready to help
others. The daughter of Thanh is gentle and kind. The
young man from Thanh is hardworking and honest. I
love Thanh Hoa, as well as the people of Thanh here.
So, come to Thanh Hoa to experience and the scenery
as well as the people here!

Bộ phim yêu thích (Favorite movie)
I have grown up with Doraemon since I was young.
Doreamon, a comic book, was written by Fujiki Fujio.
It is a cartoon and it is converted from comic book of
the same name to movie. The movie has a lot of
characters, but the main character is Doraemon. He is a
robot cat from future- 22nd century. Doraemon helps
Nobita, the clumsy boy, solve problems around his life.
In addition, Doraemon and Nobita have some friends:
Xeko, Chaien and Xuka. They discover the world

together, so I see a beautiful friendship in the movie.

The movie has been with my childhood and created
beautiful memories.

Đồ ăn yêu thích (food)
Pho is one of my favorite foods. Pho is the most
popular and special dish in our country, Vietnam. There
are two main kinds of Pho: Pho with beef and Pho with
chicken. Pho is served in a bowl with a specific cut of
white rice noodles in clear beef broth, with slim cuts of
beef (steak, fatty flank, lean flank, brisket). Chicken Pho
is made using the same spices as beef, but the broth is
made using only chicken bones and meat, as well as
some internal organs of the chicken, such as the heart,
the undeveloped eggs and the gizzard. I always enjoy a
bowl of hot and spicy Pho for breakfast. Mornings are a
special time for pho in Vietnam. I love Pho and I can eat
it every morning without boring.
9. Quyển sách yêu thích (book)
I am usually in habit of reading books. Addition to
books that offer me much useful information,I also like
comic book. I am in fond of it for some following
reasons. To begin with, Comic books bring me a great
deal of relaxation. One of them is Doraemon story,
which tells many funny short stories about 2 main
characters, Doremon and Nobita,Who are close friends.
The author of that comic creats so many amusing

situations among characters that I can”t help laughing.
It”s actually a hard-to-put-down book. It attracts not only
children but also adults as me. Another good point of it I
want to mention about is creative imagination. I mean

children need to have imaginative mindset, which helps
them be more active in life. By and large, comic book is
worth reading after hard work. It is nice for everyone.
10. Con vật yêu thích (animal)
My favorite animal is the chick. I have a flock of
chickens at home. A hen and a flock of chicks. Look at
the tiny golden fluffy chickens that are so cute. They
have a tiny beak. They move on two legs, they have no
arms and have wings. Every afternoon, the mother then
takes her chicks to find food. The chicks trot after their
mother. Their main food is rice and worms. I prepare a
tray of water for them so they can drink when thirsty.
Looking at their immature eyes makes me want to turn
them back. However, chicks are quite difficult to
approach. When you get close they will run away. I can’t
stroke them. I usually sit quietly watching them and try
not to startle them. On cold days I will light a lamp to
warm them up. The chicks are very cute. I like chicks.
11. Môn học yêu thích (subject)
Math is my favorite subject. I have been passionate
about math since I was a child. I enjoy doing arithmetic
with numbers. Mathematics helps us to develop our
ability to think logically and to train for reflection. We

can think faster and react better to numbers thanks to
Math. With magic and numbers, I can also handle a
number of problems related to time, money, planning, …
I always spend a lot of time reading books about
Mathematics. I also joined the Math club at school so I
could improve my knowledge. On the other hand, I want
to exchange knowledge of Mathematics with people who

love this subject like me. In the future, I will strive to
become a good Math teacher.
12. Thầy cơ u thích (teacher)
I always want to say thanks to my Science teacher as
well as my homeroom teacher, Mrs Hoa. She has taught
us so many things in the classroom. Beside academic
knowledge, I have learnt to be disciplined and punctual
for the class. She used to give us so many projects,
which helped us improve our knowledge. She uses easy
and appropriate ways to teach us good things. The
lessons with Mrs. Hoa are always interesting. I have had
so much fun learning with her. I am eternally grateful for
everything she has taught me. Teachers like her are not
easy to find. To my teacher, thank you for being patient
and helping me improve.
13. Kỳ nghỉ hè (summer break)
As a student, I don’t have much free time beside
those I love. So my summer vacation is the duration
during which I often busy myself with many things at
home all day. In the day time, I often do sundry things

for my grandmother and help my parents to do
housework. In the evening, I go out with some of my old
friends. We often chat with each other in a cafe. Usually,
when I am free from doing housework, I go and visit
close relatives in my neighborhood and ask them about
their life and business. In the late evening, I watch films
on TV or read novels or books to widen my
understanding. I often go to bed very late. In my mind, I
always want my short summer vacations to be not only

comfortable for me but also useful for my beloved
people.
14. Người nổi tiếng (celebrity)
My parents are quite busyto spend much time with me.
From a young age, I learned to play alone with my cell
phone and tablet. That is why I know K-pop, know V – the
idol in my heart that I call him as my husband. His real
name is Kim Tae-hyung. His tall and thin figure with white
skin quickly attract me. The boy born in 1995 with
excellent music ability immediately conquered the audience
when he appeared as one member of BTS. Possessing a
deep but wide voice himself, he is one of the pillars of BTS
until the present time. His talent does not stop at music, he
recently stepped into acting and received very positive
feedback from fans. With his talent and his youth, I think he
can go a long and long way in his career.
15. Hoạt động trong ngày (activities of the day)
Unlike high school pupils, university students have

more things to do. They have to take care of themselves,
take part in many activities and study. I am one of them, a
college student. My schedule is not fixed so there will be at
7 o'clock I go to school, sometimes at 9 o'clock. I  goes to
school and has lunch at the university. After that, I takes a
short nap and goes to afternoon classes until 3 o’clock.  In
the afternoon, I will go out with friends or take part in some
clubs at university. I is quite busy because her club has a lot
of activities. Sometimes, I dines out and goes home late at
night. I does not have much free time so she cannot relax
and take a break. I usually study more than 12 o'clock at

night because I have to do slides. I stays up late very
often. This is my day as a university student. College is a
lot of fun, but there's a lot of homework and clubs, so
there's a lot to do. I hope I won't feel too pressured or tired.
