A mobile app is a computer program designed to run on a mobile device, such as a smartphone. The term
"app" is a short-form of the term "software application”.
Surveys show that kids are addicted to their smartphones and other mobile devices. So if it seems as if
teenagers are spending a lot of time connecting to their screens, that’s because they are. About a quarter of their
day to be exact, the average teens between13 and 18 spend about nine hours a day consuming media.
Teenagers today have a complex relationship with technology. Not only is technology intricately
