BEAUTIFUL HOMES CLUB
Part 2: Why do you want to join beautiful homes club
I’m really into decorating my home on special occasions. In addition, I want to live and enjoy a
cozy family atmosphere with loved ones. Therefore, I would like to join in the beautiful homes
club to have many chances to discuss how to find a lot of beautiful things to decorate my house.
Part 3:
A: I have a bad relationship with my neighbors because they often make noise. Tell me how
is your relationship with your neighbors?
I highly recommend you talk to them politely and friendly to resolve that bad problem. You can
ask them to turn down the volume when they listen to music to avoid making noise pollution.
Importantly, they should keep it peaceful and quiet at night so that other neighbors can feel relaxed
and comfortable after a hard-working day.
B: Do you prefer living in old buildings or modern buildings? Why?
I prefer living in modern buildings rather than old buildings. Because the old buildings have been
constructed for a long time with a lot of out of date equipment so that I can not feel comfortable
and safe to live there. On the otherhand, things in modern buildings are usually new and
convenient for people to live there well.
C: The house should be designed in a way that is good for the environment. Do you agree?
I agreewith you. I think that we should build modern and durable buildings or houses so that we
can live there in the long term. In addition, I highly recommend we use friendly environment
materials to build it. Moreover, we can design a greenhouse with a lotof trees and flowers in order
to create fresh and clean air.
PART 4 :
Dear member,

The cost of maintaining old building is very high and these building take up a lot of space. The

government has a proposal that we knock down old buildings and build more modern blocks.

of maintaining old buildings is very expensive and these buildings take up a lot of space. The
government suggests that we knock down ancient buildings and build more modern blocks. To be

Well, we have the same good habit. I have joined a speaking – English course at IELTSsv for six

because this wayimproves my reading skill. Everyday, I read everything I can get my hands on, if
it’s in English.
B: English is a popular language in the world. What are your thoughts on this idea?
I agree with you. English has an important role in our life. It helps us communicate with other

C: When do you usually use English?
Well, I usually use English whenever I need to. I use it for researching or reading information in

Dear Sir,
My name is Mai Van and I have been a member of English club for about 5 months. I received a

communication. While some people are comfortable to accept, others protect their opinion that
there should be rules for language. Therefore, the purpose of this email is to express my feelings
and make some suggestions about this situation.
I was disappointedand boredwhen i heard that. In my opinion, the goal of the community is that
we feel comfortable when talking to each other and can understand what the partner says.
Furthermore, it will help our language become more abundant and diverse. Our conversations also
will become more interesting and fascinating.

TRAVEL CLUB

Part 2: Why are you interested in travel?
->I am keen on traveling as I love going out to discover the beauty of the world, meeting new
friends and visiting wonderful places.
Part 3:
1.Tell me a time you had a trip in bad weather.
->Last summer, I had a trip with my family to Dalat. However, it was the rainy season at that time,
so it rained cats and dogs throughout our trip. Although we stay at our hotel most of the time, we
couldn’t visit anywhere. That trip was boring and terrible to us.
2.Traveling a long distance by some means of transportation is not good for the environment? Do
you agree?
->I agree with the statement. Using several means of transportation to travel a long distance can
cause some negative effects on the environment. Firstly, the vehicle will release lots of carbon
dioxide that causes air pollution. Secondly, people can throw trash out on their way which pollutes
the environment.
3.What are the most interesting places to visit in your country?
->My family has a lot of pictures about interesting places, but I suggest you visit HaLong Bay. Ha
Long Bay was recognized as one of seven wonders of the world by UNESCO because of its
natural and amazing view.
4.What is the most exciting journey you’ve been on?
->The most exciting journey that I’ve been on is my 4 days-3 nights trip to VungTau. Although
the time was quite short, I had enough time to visit the most beautiful destinations and try all the
delicious local food there.

5.Can you remember the first time you went on a journey by yourself? What was it like?
-> At the present, the memory of the first journey on my own is still a good memories in my
mind. It was a beautiful day with light wind and warm sunlight. I was so excited to have that trip
around my village with my bicycle. Everything was peaceful and attractive that I could never
forget.
Part 4: “Dear members, Our club is planning to encourage tourist to visit a area. We also
want visitors coming to our areas to behave politely. Please raise your voice and give some
suggestions for this plan.”
1.

Write to your friend and share your suggestions.

Dear Peter,
It seems like ages since we last met. How are you? I am still fine.

I am writing this email to tell you that I have been a member of travel club for about 5 months. I
received a letter from the club last night thatthey are going to plan to encourage tourists to visit the
area.
I was excited about this news and I think that we should inform about the destination on social
media so that people could follow and take part in (IT). They also can make a list of rules about
polite behaviors first for visitors while coming to the area.
What do you think about it? Reply to me soon
Best regards,
Mai Van.
2.

Write to the president of the club and give your suggestions.

Dear Sir,

My name is Mai Van and I have been a member of travel club for about 5 months. I received a
letter from the club last night that our club is going to plan to encourage visitors to visit an area.
.Therefore, the purpose of this email is to express my feelings and make some suggestions about
this situation.
I was excited when I heard it as I have been waiting for this event for months.I am willing to share
some proposals for our club to make this plan more attractive.
From my view, I recommend our club advertise about the destination on our club’s website and
Facebook so that people can follow and join. In the advertisement, you can introduce special
features of that area, such as beautiful sceneries, historical places or delicious local food in order to
make tourists more interested with the trip. About how to make visitors behave politely when
coming there, our club can make a list of polite behavior rules and instruct it to everyone before
the trip. Therefore, people will know what they should do and should not do during the trip.
I hope you find my recommendations helpful. I look forward to hearing from you soon.
Yours faithfully,
Mai Van.

this email is to express my feelings and make some suggestions about this situation. the
cancelation of James Mc Avoy's meeting, and he has requested we reschedule the talk for the next

To be honest, I was disappointed to hear about that. I have been waiting to meet James Mc Avoy
for a long time. More importantly, I informed you about my next year schedule that I would go on
a business trip to Thailand for five months from January. So I can't attend any club's appointment
among these times. Therefore, it would be grateful if you could persuade the guest actor to attend
the meeting as usual. If not you should invite another famous actor instead of him.
I hope you find my recommendations helpful. I look forward to hearing from you soon.
Yours faithfully,
Mai Van.

I was disappointed about that, and I would like to recommend that we should link up with many
companies to introduce new products and also increase the budget to pay for equipment. That can
also reduce membership fees.
I hope you find my recommendations helpful. I look forward to hearing from you soon.
