General comment:
- This identified MS did not cover all activities to
build a completed building.
- The constructor can refer to a general MS to
carry out a specific activity, but he must state out

clearly what he will refer to, so that Owner can
understand a whole procedure.

General comment for all layout drawings:
- Lot 4/Subcon to present the interface
management to avoid clashing to other structures
that may occur during construction time:
+ The plan of excavation, access road, earth
transportation, the potential of clashing to other
structures.
+ The plan/side drawings of concrete supplying,
pumping for foundations, for columns, slabs ....
+ Schedule of major activities should be
presented and followed Level 3 schedule.

The space between turbine bldg and CCB is
narrow, with consideration of this, North side of
External scaffolding will be dismantle proper time
to avoid the clash to TG bldg. structural steel
work. The interface will be managed more
obviously during the execution stage in reference
with the approved DWG. The other interface also
will be managed as per site situation.

General comment, please check for all calculation
sheet:
- Force to layer 2 should be the concentrated
force from layer 1
- Support points are tie-rod positions

- After we conformed from third party calculation
the force from layer1 is a uniform load to layer 2
beam, so that we suggest to keep same
calculation that we submitted
- We will revised

each specific activity. This MS should state the
sequence of finishing works in generally, for
example finishing work will be carried out from
inside to out side or from top to down... and which
one is first, which one is second...to avoid
interface and double work.

Well noted. The document number will be

6.2. Excavation & backfill work (See appendix 1 – Method statement drawing)
- Excavating soil with slope around 1:0.5 by excavator combined with manpower to design level.
-

After excavation work is done, surveyors shall check the ground's elevation.
- Leveling and compaction to ensure the design elevation and make the surface smooth.
- Excavation work will be carried out according to the VP1-0-L4-C-GEN-10008 MS for Excavation
and Backfilling Works, VP1-0-L4-C-GEN-10012 ITP for Excavation and backfilling works.

- Start excavation work from axis C4 and finish at axis C1.

METHOD STATEMENT FOR CENTRAL
CONTROL BUILDING

6.3. Forms/Shuttering
- Formwork shall be designed and constructed in accordance with ACI 347 or as approved by the
Engineer. Approval shall be required before formwork construction commences. (See attached
calculation).
- Forms shall be so designed, ties and supported so that they will not deflect or bulge during placement
and compaction of the concrete. It shall be sufficiently tight to prevent loss of mortar.
- The capacity of form and frame system is calculated following APPENDIX for reference.
- For calculation of form work see APPENDDIX attached
6.4. Reinforcement Fixing
- Type of rebar: with deformed bar we use grade CB 400-V, fy=400Mpa, for wesh bar we use grade
CB 500-V, fy=500Mpa. Rebar material shall be submitted and get approved from owner before used
- Rebar will storage in workshop and put on support of timber or pipe to keep distance with ground and
cover with plastic sheet
- Rebar will be cut and bending after conformed design drawing and bar bending schedule. Contractor
will use cutting machine and bending machine capacity compliance with bar diameter and standard of
bar bending. Rebar after fabrication will transport to construction site by truck crane.
- Rebar will install follow approved drawing and standard of lap length. Bar chair type will apply
follow standard and bar bending schedule between bar layer where request to control position of rebar
- The black steel wire will use to fix of rebar, steel wire with double folded to ensure the firmness of
the connection. After install rebar, the concrete spacer will be applied before start formwork, concrete
spacer will be cast with same grade with concrete structure
- The fixing of reinforcement and formwork activities may be carried-out in parallel or alternatively
the sequence can be interchanged and adequate supports are provided to avoid any movement of

reinforcement during the concreting operations.
- All steel reinforcement shall be installed, positively, secured and supported in strict accordance with
the approved drawing and bending schedules.

6.5. Concreting
- Site Engineer along with the Site QA/QC Engineer and Site Foreman will carry-out the following
checks to ensure smooth concreting operations.
- Concrete work will be carried out according to the VP1-0-L4-C-GEN-10007 MS for General
concrete works, VP1-0-L4-C-GEN-10011 ITP for General concrete work
- Designated access routes for concrete supply will be prepared and traffic control measures
implemented. The proper access must be organized to enable a continuous transportation of the
concrete during the entire period of pouring so that the required temperature of concrete pour will be
maintained.
