2. Grammar
2.1 Noun phrases
- A handsome man; my grandmother
Example:
- A handsome man / visited the zoo yesterday.
- My grandmother / and her nephew / really enjoyed
the party.
2.2 Verb phrases
- Vi + adv: I work quickly / to meet the deadline.
- Vt + Obj: I send a letter / to my daughter.
2.3 Prepositional phrases
- With my friends; for the first time.
Ex:
I usually go fishing / with my friends.
In 2000, I worked for IBM / for the first time.
