The contractions game
Ss need to learn the contractions as
they are very commonly used when
speaking English.
One simple activity you can do is to
tell Ss you are going to say sentences.
If the sentence is in the contraction
form, Ss stay seated, but Ss should
stand up and repeat the sentence with
the contraction if the sentence is NOT
contracted.
