Select the bad habit you have and give the reason why you
have that habit.
My writing skills class starts at 7 o’clock in the morning but I am present there at
a quarter to seven. It is not good when being late at class more than I should or especially,
turning it into my habit. Very often, I missed the important knowledge, discomforted my
teachers and distracted my classmate. Speaking my mind, there are 3 causes why I take
that bad habit.
Firstly, the main reason, which originates even from the previous night, is my
going to bed late. Think that I will finish studying in one hour or less, I spend most of the
early part of nighttime surfing web, chatting with friends or watching favorite films. It
turns out that my exercises keep me awake until 2 AM. Since then, I get up very late in
the next day with very limited time for going to class.
Besides, I usually oversleep although I know that I have enough sleeping.
Whenever the alarming clock rings in the morning, my lazy mind asks my hand to turn it
off. I try to lie to myself that I will take 5 minutes more sleeping which in fact lasts much
more than that.
Lastly, it takes me a lot of time to have breakfast before class. General speaking, I
am fast at walking but slow at eating. In spite of starting going to school on time, I am
tempted by the food on the road and waste my time on it. Eventually, the class already
starts before I finish my meal.
It is said that if you have one slow step, you are going to lose every thing.
Resulted from unarranged the time, being late takes away my precious things that I could
have had. To succeed in this world, the punctuality should be respected and followed
seriously.
