Japanese often goes to school or office on foot. This is a good method for health as well
as protecting the environment. They walk very fast and hardly talk when walking because
they think that walking is only for the sake of walking. They have the very clear aim in
the activities “everything in its own time”.
In Vietnam, in contrast, whether we go on foot or by motorbike, we still make use of it
for talking or making fun. In crowded and chaotic roads Vietnam, such careless actions
like that may result in the danger to us as well as others.

When foreigners, coming to the 2 most modern cities of Vietnam (Ha Noi & Ho Chi
Minh), without knowledge about the culture of chaotic traffic here at the moment will be
shy, then, terrified of crossing the road. After a long time living in these cities, they
conclude a life-time experience that they would rather cross the road with carelessness
than stand in the pavement to wait for the stop of the traffic flow.
