As well as men, women are the main labor force

Women not only do well their housework but also actively
participate and achieve much success in the social fields

Women participate in most aspects of social life and hold
important positions, more and more women become
politicians, famous scientists, the active managers

In many areas, the presence of women is indispensable as
the textile industry, service industry, garment sector

About 51.48% of the population & nearly 48% of
social labor force are women

In more than 300 thousand enterprises operating
under the Enterprise Law, there’re about 15% of
enterprises that headed or held some key positions
by women

The rate of women managing enterprises of some
industries such as textile, garment, footwear, food,
drinks, etc is nearly 50%

In the transport, construction & mining field, the
rate of women manager is nearly 20%

About 27% of 900 thousand households & family
business are managed by women

Nowadays, women play an important role in
economic development but they still have
difficulties in advancement

If Vietnamese woman get the positive support from
the objective and have subjective efforts, they will
have the opportunities to contribute more to

society and create the position for themselves. And
hope that they will not meet any barriers in
advancing in career
