1. Self- study definition
Self-study, as defined by the Cambridge dictionary, is a way of learning about a topic that involves studying alone at home, rather than in a classroom with a teacher.Or we can understand it as a positive way to understand new knowledge, master cognitive techniques, and create cognitive bridges in learning situations (Ngô Thế Lâm, 2020).
2. Self-study affect individuals
As we know, Ho Chi Minh is a shining example and a theorist of education and study. In the concept of self-study, he defined "self-study" with a short, concise, but ideological sentence: Self-study is automatic learning" (Ho Chi Minh, 2011C, p. 360). The special thing is that although that saying was born a long time ago, it is very consistent with the point of view of self-study of modern education."Automatic learning" means that the learning is decided by the learners themselves, the learners are self-disciplined, autonomous without prompting, assigning tasks to others, and realizing their own needs. then proceed to self-study. Ho Chi Minh explained: “Automatic is not to rely on anyone, it is to know how to manage the newspaper by yourself, to know how to practice work in many new and diverse forms” (Ho Chi Minh, 2011A, p. .44). Thus, according to Ho Chi Minh, self-study isself-management of learning and knowledge acquisition. Learners draw up a learning plan for themselves, persevere and patiently implement that plan methodically, then learners self-check and evaluate the achieved results, and draw experiences for themselves.
self-Therefore, it is possible to summarize the author's idea when talking about self-studyas following pursuit of knowledge, constantly questioning, comparing, evaluating, and taking an objective view of current views in each person's personal life, from which to have a clear view, understand deeply the nature of things and events, turning human knowledge into their own.

Learning outcomes reflect the following children's understanding or ability to practice a learning process. While learning outcomes are often expressed in terms of knowledge, skills, or attitudes, the education system in Vietnam is primarily measured into the theoretical amount learned (according to UNICEF). But in terms of studying at university, we need to consider another factor, which is motivation to go to school, because motivation is the individual's own urge and push to be able to fulfill their dreams and individual and family aspirations.
4. Multimedia communication
The Multimedia major provides general knowledge and skills. It can be said that the Multimedia industry is a nascent industry in Vietnam. There are about 15 schools offering this subject at university level. According to data from We are Social, Vietnam has 77.39 million internet users as of early 2023. It proves that this is a promising field of study and industry in Vietnam and to ensure that the market can be met, the framework.
The basic curriculum of high school education at all schools ensures that graduates will have basic knowledge and ability to handle a variety of problems. Or you can say here The actual demand for human resources in the Multimedia industry shows that there is an opening. Multimedia communication training is really necessary, in order to train the source university-level human resources, meeting the actual demand for multi-media human resources current vehicles. (Dr. Nguyen Thi Hanh, MSc. Chu Hai Ha, 2021)

6. General situation of Vietnamese students in education
According to the P4, 5 (2009) Nguyen Thi Tuoi, instead of educate student to have an awareness about how important is self study, teacher might use extra class as an opinion to rise the knowledge, practice what have learn on class, and teach more about the related lesson due to their legit, their degree, their reputation. Another factor is the societal need, students and parents, no one wants to leave behind, the score race is too tough, And overtime it becomes a business culture. According to a nationwide representative survey, about seven tenths (68%) of people who pay for words feel the need to learn more to be able to study well in Vietnam (Love Frankie, 2020).
III. THEORY LOGICAL FRAMEWORK
Semiotics: Semiotics is a vast science, involving almost all fields of nature, society,
and man. Within that vast range, when we add it to self study, we can make an equivalent comparison on the “sign” in study. We can explain things such as: "score, degree, result from competition. And based on Iuri Mikhailovich Lotman‘s view: communication between transmitter and receiver about function notification, between the reader and the text, between text with cultural context. The text that appears before our eyes is not simply an ordinary language message (2014). Look back to the result that self study can have, it appears at score, knowledge.”
