II. Fuel system using a carburetor

1. Components and Functions

- Fuel Tank: Used to store gasoline.

- Fuel Filter: Located between the fuel tank and the fuel pump, it is responsible for cleaning and filtering the gasoline, removing dirt and debris from the fuel. The fuel filter must be periodically replaced to keep it clean.

- Fuel Pump: Its role is to draw gasoline from the fuel tank to the carburetor.

- Carburetor: Functions to mix gasoline with air to create the fuel-air mixture to supply to the engine.

- Air Filter: Cleans the air before go to the carburetor.Intake Pipe

II. Electronic fuel injection (EFI) system

1. Components and Functions

- Electronic fuel injection (EFI) system is a pre-programmed system to adjust the fuel injection process into the engine according to each engine load condition.

- Sensors: detect changes in engine parameters (temperature, RPM...) and convert them

into electrical signals sent to the ECU.

- ECU (Engine Control Unit): receives signals from sensors to control the fuel for various

- Pressure regulator: maintains stable fuel pressure in the injectors.

- Fuel injectors: valve-shaped and controlled by signals from the engine's ECU.- Pressure control valve: adjusting fuel pressure into the injectors.
