<b>INDUCTION </b>

Hosting TV shows is an activity born according to the objective requirements of the actual production of radio and television programs. This activity keeps an important role in determining the success or failure of the programs. Simultaneous, today, with the explosion of mass media, the act of presenting is officially recognized as a profession in society. The system of radio and television stations across the country has formed an increasingly large and professional team of presenters. The presenter not only a mere newsreader but also a person who inspires, attracts, and convinces readers, thereby creating an impression and style of the program.

In the journalism training system at the Academy of Journalism and Communication, the program has officially been included in the learning content for students. More agencies and cultural centers across the country have also opened refresher courses on hosting skills.

Host is also a specialized subject of students of Television Broadcasting High Quality, Radio and Television Broadcasting Department, Academy of Journalism and Communication. This is a subject that equips students of Television Broadcasting High Quality with knowledge and skills to conduct in different types of programs on television so that students can use and apply in their future work.

First of all, I would like to thank the lecturer who teaches this subject, Ms. Nguyen Nga Huyen, who has been enthusiastic and dedicated to us all this time. After finishing the course, I would like to express my feelings about the subject, my own feelings and the knowledge I have gained that I can apply it to the final exercise, as well as my work.

<b>1. The knowledge had gained. </b>

1.1. The knowledge relate to news editing.

First of all, a news bulletin occur in a duration of 5-30 minutes, aiming to deliver the latest news, of various genres and works such as news, reportage, interviews, and reflections. Newsletters are fast-paced and serious in nature. However, the news report has a strict and pressurized production process, carried out by a team.

News bulletins are arranged in the following order: Politics, economy, society, education, culture, sports, weather.

1.2. Knowledge of narration editing.

The editing and re-presentation of the citation has a standard way of content and form in order to bring the highest information efficiency. The narration must be the most standard text for the narrator to present

1.3.1. The concept of the talk show.

- Duration: 15 minutes to 30.40 minutes.

- A conversation that takes place on radio or television between a host and a guest participant about any topic..

- Ask questions that the audience wants to hear from the character

- Mark in the text so that the presenter himself understands: contiguous phrases, breaks, places to emphasize, words that are difficult to read... - Display the text on horizontal paper, when there are many words to

read. Always leave space between sections so you can take notes when needed.

- Prepare copies of scripts.

1.3.5. Television conversation skills

- Depending on the atmosphere of the program, choose the right tone of voice

- Speak at a moderate speed, with clear words. Strange words, difficult to pronounce, foreign languages that need to be said more slowly or with more emphasis.

- Pay attention to clearly communicate with the audience: characters, camera (television audience) and studio audience.

- Always be aware of the camera, the audience looking at you during the show.

- Interrupt characters when speaking at length, talking away from the topic. Encourage characters to share when interesting information appears, needing to dig deeper.

- Highly focused on the program, so as not to miss interesting information, timely improvise before unexpected situations.

2.2. Difficults.

<b>ENDINGS </b>

In the course of 4 months of studying TV presenter, it has fostered us a lot of necessary knowledge for the host profession, about how to edit questions, how to find characters, things to do. It is necessary to prepare before a program requiring a lead takes place, including the work of both the host and the crew.

We sincerely thank the teachers and the Board of Directors of the Academy of Journalism and Journalism and Communication for giving us the opportunity to study this subject, this is really a very good stepping stone for the path of journalism that we aim to be in the future.
