Are you giving 70% in your and expecting 100% in return? Maybe you are giving 110% and
seeing only 40% back. We all have our own unique standards and expectations that dictate how
we feel at the end of the day. By putting those expectations on the table we stop them from
zapping our energy and can instead convert them into sources of positive energy, focus and
balance for our career or business.

Chapter ONE: What difference would it make to your life if you could

give 100% EVERY DAY…without burning out?
Welcome to an amazing concept that will change your life. 100 days of 100 % is an extremely
simple concept that I developed when I noticed that even though I was being incredibly
productive in my life I wasn’t feeling fulfilled. It began with a simple question from my coach
and mentor Leah Grant and just like James and the Giant Peach, it grew and grew and grew.
With your help I would like to keep that momentum going.
If you haven’t already you may want to check out “5 Mornings of Productivity” my five part
workshop that expands on the ideas in this book and is a great kick start to the process. There is
no-cost to participate in the workshop.
To register go to www.motivatemyself.com and click on the “Momentum” tab and join at the
Free, My Momentum level. Once you register you will be sent a user name and password and
within two minutes you will be listening to day one and getting ready to take action. You will
also find a great tool there so that you can do your check-in online and receive an email of each
day as you complete it. More tools and resources are being added frequently.
I have deliberately kept this e-workbook simple! A challenge for me, I will admit. By spending
only 10-15 minutes a day on the questions in the e-book I believe you will notice some big
changes in your life for the better. Some of the results you can expect are:
• More balance in your life
• Feeling happier and more fulfilled more often
• More productivity in your work
• More consistency
• Better focus
• Clearer vision of “what you want”
• Naturally prioritize your day with ease
You will find the format of this e-book somewhat backwards to your usual process or work
book. I am going to jump right into the process in the next chapter and then at the back of the
book you will find some great information. Enjoy.
*****************************
Please keep in mind as you work through the 100% process that I firmly believe productivity is NOT
about doing more.

100% is about taking a good honest look at your time, your expectations and your habits and figuring out
what you really want to be doing!
Productivity for me is about being more effective and more efficient with your time.

Chapter TWO: 100 days of 100%
What difference would it make to your life if you were to give 100% for 100 days?
The simple worksheets on the following pages will empower you to begin the shift to do just
that. Throughout the 100 days you will re-calibrate yourself and bridge the gap between your
expectations and possibility. This process will help you re-define 100% and increase your focus
and productivity allowing you to attain 100% on a regular basis.
This program is designed to fit into regular life. That includes sick days, vacation days and work
days. Exploring what 100% would look like on vacation, what fun! Can you imagine a 100%
sick day and taking care of yourself 100%. Each day you complete the worksheet counts as one
day. When you have filled out 100 worksheets you have completed the 100 days of 100%.
PLEASE NOTE YOU DO NOT HAVE TO DO 100 CONSECUTIVE DAYS. IF YOU MISS A
DAY THAT IS NO BIG DEAL, JUST PICK UP AGAIN THE NEXT DAY.
You can complete the 100 days in 100 days or 10000 days it doesn’t matter.
Being consistent doesn’t come easily. For some reason most of us resist it and take on too
much which really gets in the way of consistency. If you find yourself losing Momentum or
struggling to complete the 100 worksheets there are a ways you can add in more accountability
and support.
1. Join “My Momentum” and listen or re-listen to “5 Mornings of Productivity” This five part
workshop will inspire you and perhaps answer some of the questions you have.
2. Once you are finish with “5 Mornings” you will continue to receive email support, take a
moment to read the tips and ideas and use them to remind you to do your check-in.
3. Looking for more accountability? Join one of my Next Action Power Groups.
4. Start your own power group by inviting 3- 5 friends to read the book and check-in regularly
with each other. If you already have a team or a group you belong to this might be a great tool to

use at the beginning of your regular meetings.
5. Reach out to a coach for One on One support. You can find more about Breakthru Coaching
and other services I offer at www.motivatemyself.com
Chapter THREE: Example of Worksheet.

Chapter FOUR: The Original Questions:
STEP 1
Define 100% (as if I were to look it up in the dictionary of you)
Three Powerful Questions to Ask Every Day
What would 100% look like, today, the next 24 hours that you have on your calendar?
What percent have you willing to commit to? (the answer does not have to be 100%).
What difference would it make to your life if you could give 100% every day without burning
out?
I want to share with you one last questions.
I find it works well to check in either at the end of the day or the next morning and ask…
“What percent did I give?”
…or if you prefer
“What percent did I deliver?”
Ask yourself from a curious, kind, loving and non judgmental place. Maybe take a breath and
relax before you ask it. Then take a moment, still in that kind place to compare the percent you
committed to with the percent that you gave.

Chapter FIVE: Daily Worksheet
Day Number Date

What is your target percentage today that you are committing to?

Chapter SIX: My Journey
How 100 days of 100% was conceived
I had a really BIG idea, not that unusual for me, I’ll give you that, but trust me this one feels
really BIG! This one could make a difference in a lot of people’s lives and unlike most of my
other BIG ideas, it’s relatively simple.
It all began last year when after a pretty amazing year I pondered the question, with my coach,
what did I do 100%. The question sat and sat and sat until finally my coach offered… “Well you
quit drinking” Yes I did! That was a clear cut example I could wrap my head around. With
drinking (alcohol that is) you are either drinking or you are not, so gauging 100% was simple.
What about all the other ideas, strategies, projects I had going on? Not so simple. Now I want to
be clear here, I am not saying that I didn’t do a lot of wonderful things in 2009. However what
became abundantly clear to me was that there was a huge gap between my expectations and
reality.
After that I just began asking myself, "What would 100% look like?" about everything I could.
As I set goals, planned my day or thought about an upcoming project. The more I did this, the
more I realized that there were tangible things that defined 100% for me. I also realized that by
raising my awareness and asking myself "What would 100% look like?" I could immediately see
whether my expectations were realistic. A great example of this was when I sat down to create a
goal list/project list for the week. I wrote down a bunch of to-do's and then looking at the list
asked myself "What would 100% look like?". This fleshed out the to-do list considerably. I then
looked at the weekly to-do list and realized that is was a month or more worth of activity.

Putting it into perspective like this then enabled me to prioritize the tasks and set some realistic
goals and priorities.
As you can see giving 100% is not about pushing yourself harder and as I like to call it "white
knuckling" through a project. I see it as a simple tool that once incorporated into your life shifts
your way of being. By being clear and specific you can enjoy more balance, easily prioritize and
feel the joy and satisfaction of your accomplishments along the way. By asking yourself “What
would it look like if I gave 100%” today at the beginning of every day you can live more fully.
This is not about work or life or goals, this is about living. What would 100% look like on
vacation, what would 100% of taking care of yourself on a sick day, look like… Then you
intentionally decide what percentage you would like to give. Giving 100% is not the objective,
the objective is to intentionally decide and to be realistic about your expectations. To set
yourself up for success, joy and fulfillment in everything you do.
What I think is so beautiful about this simple question is that it can work for everyone to bring
balance and fulfillment into their life, almost like a reset switch or a way of re-calibrating.
Whether you are a high achiever or a procrastinator it bridges the gap between expectations and
possibility for you. Once I thought about this more and more and more I realized that it also
brings you into the present moment, tunes you into your intuition and after you have asked the
question a few times on a regular basis it shift your habits and behavior.
At the beginning of this year I made “What would 100% look like” one of my guiding principles
for the year. Then it sat on the back boiler. My husband, Kirk has been out of work for almost a
year. He is a trooper, busting his ass every day but as a lot of you can also appreciate it’s tough.
Two nights ago a lay in bed thinking and what I realized was I haven’t been giving 100%. I’ve
been giving about . I then started thinking what if I were to focus on 100% for 100 days.
I am hoping you can are beginning to see how exciting this is. Try to imagine 100 days of
100%. What I mean by that is asking yourself “What would 100% look like today?” for 100
days (not necessarily consecutive, you can play any way you like here). What impact would that
have on your life do you suppose? I can only begin to imagine how powerful that would be.

First comes thought; then organization of that thought, into ideas and plans; then transformation

Chapter SEVEN: FAQ’S
Do I have to do the 100 days consecutively?
No. If you deliberately, or unconsciously skip a day a week or even a year, no big deal. You are still in
the game.
Do I have super powers?
Unless you super powers on a regular daily basis the answer is no. When you are defining what 100%
would look like for you, it is you right now.
Am I defining my 100% on my ideal day?
No. It is the day you have in front of you right now, on the calendar. Not a generic or ideal day, today.
What does this have to do with building my business?
One of the biggest challenges my clients come to me with is lack of consistency. Honestly
consistency is even more important than quality in marketing your business or career. 100% is a
beginning, a powerful step forward on the journey of consistency and balance. If you want to
deepen the learning and really invest in creating solid habits and building your business right the
first time, the best next step for you is to join Momentum PRO. For an annual fee, Momentum
PRO gives you full access to three of my most powerful programs and will guide you step by
step through the process of taking stock, creating a solid vision for your life AND your business
and then creating a step by step action plan for the next twelve months. You also get 30 days of
group support and SIX one on one laser coaching sessions with me to support you through the
six modules of The Foundation Program.
When I define 100% for today should I create a list of stuff I would like to get done?
It is completely up to you. I find some days I write a list, some days I write done a state of being I would
like to embody. Some days it might be things I want to do and some days things I don’t want to do. Play

with this for yourself each day. I do think it works well to write it in the past tense though, as if it has
already played out.
I’m a perfectionist; won’t this just put more pressure on me to do more?
I have found that after a little while (it’s different for everyone how long it takes) there is a shift
that takes place which bridges the gap between your perhaps high or low expectations and what
is truly possible. At first you may find yourself in that place of pressure but just stick with it and
see what happens, I think you will be pleasantly surprised.
I’m a procrastinator; won’t this just make me feel bad about myself?
The way this tool is set up you cannot fail. If you skip a few days ,no big deal. If you want to
give 25%, that’s fine or even 0%. You are under no pressure to perform which I believe releases
the pressure that can immobilize you. At first you will probably be skeptical of this, but hang in
and keep going. Each day is a new opportunity a blank sheet for you to play with. This gives
you the freedom to take baby steps, to play with your commitment level and bridge the gap.
Isn’t 100% a unrealistic expectation? Aren’t you just setting yourself up for
failure?
Perhaps, maybe you will be disappointed at first with your level of productivity. Every day we
walk around with our standard of 100% (whatever that means to u)s. We may have created our
own standard or adopted someone else’s who has been instrumental in our lives. It is unspoken,
nagging in the background and making us feel bad about ourselves. By putting it on the table we
take away its power. It may take a while for you to even understand what 100% is for you, this
tool will empower you to define your standards and then evaluate them to see if they are working
for you or against you.
