An unidentified flying object or a U.F.O is the name we give to something strange in the
sky that we don’t recognize. For thousands of years there have been stories about strange objects
in the sky. Until recently, however, nobody believed these stories. Some of them sounded just too
crazy to be true. If you reported seeing a “ flying saucer ” or something like that, most people
thought you are imagining things. Recently, however, there have been many more reports of
U.F.O sightings. Many of these objects, too, have been seen by more than one person, so it is not
easy to laugh at them. Occasionally photographs have been taken which show that there was
something there. But what was it? There is still such lot we don’t understand about the world we
live in.
1) A U.F.0 is a short name for an unidentified flying object.
