STORIES FOR CHILDREN
1/ SUSU- THE SMART RABBIT:
Susu and Lulu took a walk in sombre jungle. Suddenly, a cruel tiger
appeared. Susu and Lulu ran for their lives, the tiger followed them lose.
After a while, Lulu fell down and the tiger seized him. Susu turned back
then, he asked the tiger, “Who are you to eat us ?”. The tiger said, “I’m
the lord of this jungle!”. Susu had an idea, he said, “Really ? How
strange, there’s someone who said the same thing over there !”. Lead me
to that guy !” said the tiger. Susu led the tiger to a well and said, “He’s
down there !”. The tiger looked down the well, he saw another tiger
watching him. The tiger bared his teeth and the tiger below did the same.
The tiger roared, he started at the echo from the well. “Just wait, I’ll
finish this beast off !” said the tiger angrily. The tiger jumed down the
well and never got back. Susu saved Lulu, and all animals in the jungle
wouldn’t be afraid of that tiger anymore./.
2/ LION AND MOUSE:
A lion was sleeping under the tree. A naughty mouse
misunderstood his head was a tuft of grass and he went into it ! In
consequence, the lion was woken up. The angry lion wanted to kill the
mouse. The mouse claimed, “Please let me go. I’ll pay you back in the
future.” So the lion released him. A few day passed, the lion was looking
for food everywhere. He saw a piece of meat under the tree. When the
lion wanted to eat the meat, he was trapped and being hung up. The trap
was set by a hunter. The naughty mouse passing by saw everything. The
naughty mouse though it was time for him to pay back the lion. So he
brought all his family to where the lion was trapped. The mouse and his
family climbed up to the net and bit it off. The lion was saved at last. At
that time, the hunter came to the tree and saw the trap was distroyed. He
felt very angry and disappointed. The lion was saved by the mouse and
his family. Since then, they became good friends./.
3/ THE WOLF AND THE LITTLE LAMB:

In a hot summer day, there was a little thirsty lamb drinking water
in the river. A wolf was passing by the river too. He felt so happy when
he saw the lamb. The wolf said to the lamb, “I can’t drink clean water
because you make the river dirty. So I must kill you !” The frightened
lamb explained, “Can’t you drink clean water as you stay at the upper
stream ?” The wolf replied angrily, “I know you always spoke ill of me
last year. So I must kill you !” The little lamb argued, “Mr.Wolf, I was yet
born last year !” The wolf said impatiently, “Your master and friends all
wants to kill me. Isn’t it true ?” The little still wanted to argue. But the
fierce wolf had already pounced upon and ate him./.
