Lesson 1 (A1-2-3)
I. Objectives: By the end of the lesson, the Ss will be able to read a text about
where Thuy lives to understand the details and practice country vocabulary.
II. Language contents:
- Grammar: Simple present tense :
- Vocabulary: tree, lake, river, park, flower, rice paddy.
III. Techniques: what and where, open-prediction, group works, pair works, ask
and answer.
IV. Teaching aids: lesson plan, textbook, pictures page 62, 63 and cassette.
V. Time: Allotted 45 minutes.
VI. Procedures:
1. Warm up(5’)
- Greeting
- Game: Hang man HOUSE
Have the Ss to find the word.
- It has 5 letters.
- Where you and your family live.
