 Aim:Further practice in Adverbs of frequency with the simple
present tense for after _school activities.
 Objective: By the end of the lesson, Ss will be able to tell or
write the questions or answers their after_school activities with
adverbs of frequency.

1. Warm up: Revision
Slap the board
T. reads the Vnese words, Ss slap the English ones : båi, xem TV ,
chåi troì chåi âiãûn tæí, chåi âaï boïng

2. Presentation :
a.Labelling A2 p.61
T. asks Ss to look at the activities & label the pictures.
Answer key :
1. Reading/studying in the library
2. swimming (in the pool)
3. playing video games
4. going to the movies
5. playing soccer
6. watching TV
Practice individually. Then chorus .
FB on bb.
Correction.
b. Ask & answer :
T. models “ What do you usually do after school ?”
Ss answer “ I usually read.”

T. asks Ss to answer for each day of the week, using adverbs of
frequency in the table



Chorus. Open/ Closed pair .Delayed correction.
Now ask & answer questions using “ How often ?”
T gives the model by asking Ss how often they take part in some
activities, using “How often ?”
Usually, sometimes, often, always, never

T. models “ How often do you study in the library after school ?”
Ss answer “ I usually study in the library after school.”
Chorus .Individually, using the activities of the pictures.
Open/Closed pair.
Delayed correction.
T. gets Ss to write & then tell their own sentences of after school
activities evry day.
Ex: On Monday, T usually read with my friends in the library . On
Tuesday, I sometimes go swimming with Hoa after scholl. On
Wednesday,
