questions.
Elicit questions from students:

-> What are some famous jeans designers?
- Ask student to read the text to find out the answers to their questions and
add more ideas.
- Ask students to read the text to fill in the missing dates and words, exercise
a),page 17.

Jeans at last became high fashion clothing in the 1980s.
5. Why did the sale of jeans stop growing?
The sale of jeans stopped growing because the worldwide economic
situation got worse in the 1990.
