Lesson: Language Focus
- Aims: help Ss to
- distinguish 4 sounds /ts/, /dz/, /t∫t/, /dʒd/,
- know how to use the conjunctions: “ both and”, “ neither nor”,
“either or”, “not only but also”
- know how to use cleft sentences in the passive
- Objective: by the end of the lesson, Ss will be able to:
- Pronounce the words and sentences containing 4 sounds /ts/, /dz/, /t∫t / and /dʒd/
correctly.
- Use the conjunction “both…and, not only… but also, either… or, neither…nor” and
cleft sentences in the passive correctly to do the exercises
- Teaching aids: textbook, posters,
- Procedure:
+ Greeting
+ Checking attendance
+ Check up vocabulary: campsite, dirt bike, depressed, and ask a question:
