We would like to invite you to our annual production sale. We
are very excited about this sale because of the genetic package,
superior quality, great disposition and the overall uniformity and
eye appeal of these animals. To top it all off, we have decided to
add 13 yearling replacement heifers to the sale! We will be sad to
see them go!
The calves were all weaned on September 9, 2013. We started them
on a total mixed ration consisting of millet silage, alfalfa hay, grass
hay, dried corn distillers for protein, grain corn and a complete min-
eral package. It is a 46 mega-cal ration which is a grower ration.
They are on this ration from weaning until delivery. This balanced
ration will ensure in a good-footed, free-moving bull that will main-
tain a condition without eating you out of house and home. They
are also on the Select Vac vaccination program.
The animals that are for sale this year were all born on the ranch
with the exception of the ones with the WCR prefi x. We purchased
cows in April with calves at side from Wildcat Creek Ranch in New-
ton, Kansas. The TMR prefi x are out of cows that we ran on shares.
We have an extensive A.I. program on the ranch and this year we
started to do some fl ushing.
The bulls will be kept free of charge until May 1st or when delivery
is arranged. We will be taking the bulls home on sale day so they
can receive their soundness exam by the Steele Veterinary Clinic in
March.

They will be poured and receive their foot rot vaccination prior to
delivery. The Steele Veterinary Clinic can assist with any further

All purchases become the buyers’ responsibility as soon as they

are sold. We recommend insuring your bulls and/or heifers on sale
day, especially if we are taking them back to the ranch.
