Importance of English

It is important to know more than one language
In my opinion, language is the powerful medium for people to
communicate. Language is something specific to humans, that is to say it is
the basic capacity that distinguishes humans from all other living beings.
That’s why I fully support the statement “It is very important to know other
language beside our own mother tongue”.
A language attracts people because of the wealth of literature and
knowledge enshrined in it . Thanks to the knowledge of the other languages,
we have chance to travel around the world, talk to everybody you meet, go
anywhere we like without asking for the roads We can learn from others
experience. We can check the theories of foreigners against our experience.
We can reject the untenable and accept the tenable. We can also propagate our
theories among the international audience and readers. More over, we can
also learn about the cultures of different countries. I think there are a lot of
interesting and wonderful things in their cultures. Further more, It will give us
opportunities for a better career. If we are good at audit and don’t want to
work for a local company, we can easy find a good job or do business with
other countries. And ofcourse, we will have more experience to work
anywhere. At that time, we will feel nothing is difficult anymore. Especially,
knowing other languages helps us have a better understanding of the world
around us. That is not a big problem if we want to read a book in another
language. The world seems to be smaller and smaller when we can
communicate well with each other
So far as I know, we can make use of language to promote our
worldview and spiritual heritage throughout the globe. Therefore, we can’t
deny the importance of knowing more than one language in our modern life
today.
