1. To be down in the dumps: buồn bã hoặc
thất vọng.
Ex: Helen has been down in the dumps since Michal
returned to Poland.
2. To be/look down in the mouth: trở nên hoặc có vẻ
buồn và không vui.

Ex: Helen looks really down in the mouth at the moment,
doesn't she? -Yes, she does. I think she's missing Michal.

3. To be down-to-earth: thực tế hoặc thiết thực, không
