= 30
0
. Vật nhỏ khối lượng m trượt không
vận tốc ban đầu, không ma sát từ đỉnh A trên mặt AB.
a/ Cố định nêm, tính gia tốc của m. Lấy g = 9,8 m/s
2
.

2

a/ Tính điện tích của giọt dầu.

C/-Reading (4.0ms)
Part 1 (2ms)
Read the passage about Education in the future . Then decide whether the
following statements are true (T) or false (F) according to the information in the
passage.

EDUCATION IN THE FUTURE
Education is another area of social life in which information technology is

changing the way we communicate. Today’s college students may not simply sit in a
lecture or a library to learn about their field. Through their computers and the
wonders of virtual reality they can participate in lifelike simulated experiences.
Consider the following scenario of the future of education made possible through
developments in information technology.
For children over the age of 10, daily attendance at schools is not compulsory.
Some of the older children attend school only once or twice weekly to get
tutorial support or instruction from a teacher. For the most part, pupils are
encouraged to work online from home. Students must complete a minimum number
of study hours per year; however, they may make up these hours by studying at home
at times that suit their family schedule. They can log on early or late in the day and
even join live classes in other countries. In order to ensure that each student is
learning adequately, computer software will automatically monitor the number of
hours a week each student studies on-line as well as that students’ learning materials
and assessment activities. Reports will be available for parents and teachers. The
software can then identify the best learning activities and conditions for each
individual student and generate similar activities. It can also identify areas of weak
achievement and produce special programs adjusted to the student’s needs.

1._____ If students are under 10, they won’t have to go to school on a daily
basis.
2._____ Sometimes students go to school to pay their tuition fees.

Page 5/7
3._____ There are some requirements about the learning hours that students must
complete in a year.
4._____ There is no way to find out whether students are learning adequately.
5._____ Students can be provided with learning programs that best suit them.

THE BEATLES
In the 1960s, The Beatles were probably the most famous pop group in the whole world. Since then, there have
been a great many groups that have achieved enormous fame, so it is perhaps difficult now to imagine how
sensational The Beatles were at that time. They were four boys from the north of England and none of them
had any training in music. They started by performing and recording songs by black Americans and they had
some success with these songs. Then they started writing their own songs and that was when they became
really popular. The Beatles changed pop music. They were the first pop group to achieve great success from
songs they had written themselves. After that it became common for groups and singers to write their own
songs. The Beatles did not have a long career. Their first hit record was in 1963 and they split up in 1970.
They stopped doing live performances in 1966 because it had become too dangerous for them – their fans were
so excited that they surrounded them and tried to take their clothes as souvenirs! However, today some of their
songs remain as famous as they were when they first came out. Throughout the world many people can sing
parts of a Beatles song if you ask them.

If parents bring up a child with the aim of turning the child into a genius, they will cause great damage to
him. According to several leading educational psychologists, this is one of the biggest mistakes which some
parents make. Generally, the child will understand very well what the parents expect, and will fail. Unrealistic
parental expectations can cause great damage to the children.
However, if parents are not unrealistic about what they expect their children to do, but are hopeful in a
sensible way, the child may succeed in doing very well especially if the parents are very supportive of their
children.
Michael Smiths is very lucky. He is very fond of music, and his parents help him a lot by taking him to
concerts and arranging private piano and violin lessons. Although Michael’s father plays the trumpet in a large
orchestra, he never makes Michael enter music competitions if he is unwilling.

4/5

Michael’s friend, Winston Maier, however, is not so lucky. As both his parents are successful musicians,
they set too high a standard for Winston. They want their son to be as successful as they are, and so they enter
him in every piano competition held. They are very unhappy when he does not win. “When I was at your age, I
used to win every competition I entered,” Winston’s father tells him. Winston is always afraid that he will
disappoint his parents and now he always seems quiet and unhappy.
