ABSTRACT


This article focuses on the experimental research on Bio-Flocculation-Absorption
Sedimentation process which helps increase sedimentation in mechanical treatment
(secondary treatment), and creat suitable conditions for biological treatment. The object of
study is the wastewater from the processingof fresh water products. The following factors
have some effects on this process: aeration time with air output 0.5m3/hour/m3(20
minutes), MLSS (4g/l), and sedimentation time (one hour and a haft) are favorable
conditions.
As a result, the removal of suspended solids at the settlement tank obtains 84.64%,
suitable for the biological treatment process that follows.
