I. Objectives
1. Aims: By the end of the lesson students will be able to:
Develop listening skill as listening for specific information and
listening for general infromation
Use information they have listened to complete true or false
statements, write the missing words and summarise main ideas.
2. Knowledge:
List some new words
Develop comprehension listening skill
Become more excited about activities to read books
3. Skill:
Main skill : listening
Sub-skills : speaking, reading and writing.
II. Methold:
Communication approach
III. Teaching aid:
English book 11, projector, computer, and speaker.
III. Anticipated problems
Students may not understand what speaker say so teacher should provide
them some instruction and stop at only sentence.

Warm up:
Do you know game “Crossword”. Today
I have a word which contents 12 letters.
- Shows a secret word on board.
- Divide class into 2 groups, Each group
has one leader. The leader will choose
one letter. If group guess secret words
more quickly will be the winner.
- Listen
- Work in groups
Guide key word: It is 1 kind of hobbies.
“READING BOOKS”.
Before listening:
- Ask students to work in pairs
- Write down three bebefits of reading
books and share your pair’s idea with the
class
