The form:

S + wasn’t/ weren’t + V-ing
Was/ Were + S + V-ing ?

While có thể đứng ở đầu câu hoặc cuối câu

Ex: While I was reading a book , my parents were watching TV

When : - Dùng để nối 2 mệnh đề, một mệnh đề ở thì QKĐ , 1
mệnh đề ở thì QKTD để diễn tả 1 hành đông đang
diễn ra ở Qk thì hành động khác bất chợt xẩy đến
- When đứng ở đầu câu hoặc cuối câu nhưng theo
sau when luôn là mệnh đề ở thì QKĐ
Ex : When she came, he was eating dinner
He was eating dinner when she came
