Aim : By the end of the lesson students will be able to use adverbs of
manner and modal “ should “ as an advice

warm -up Pelmanism: - Divide class in to 2
teams
-Show 12 texts with numbers that they
are divide 2 lines ( the first line is from
1 to 6, the second line is from 7 to 12 .
- Ask Ss to look at the numbers and
choose a number on the first line and
a number on the second line. Click
them, if they match
Ex : soft – softly ;click to change
color and that team has 1 mark
- if not, click the to turn number
again. And ask the next team to
continue.
- Which team has more marks will win
the game.
- Give the

There are some words which are both
adjectives and adverbs, such as : hard, fast.
hard (adv.) and hardly (adv.) : have
different meanings.
hard (adv.) : (một cách) chăm chỉ, tích cực
hardly (adv.) : hầu như không

Form : S + V + a/ an + Adj+ Noun
Or : S + Be + Adj
S + V + Adverb
Use : - Adjective modifies the noun after it
and the subject
- Adverb modifies the verb of the
sentence.
