Greetings,
After the publication of the Hermetic Kabbalah
Tarot, I have been questioned extensively about
the colors used in this project. To explain
it, we need to shed light on some points.
Firstly, as it was mentioned by Marcelo Del Debbio,
the colors used on the cards are subjective,
they are visualized by mediums during their
meditations, therefore, they can be perceived
differently depending on who visualizes them.
Secondly, the colors, originally taken from
Aleister Crowley’s Liber 777, are referred by names.
And, as every good designer knows, names of

color does not mean anything. In every graphical
work, colors are referred by the CYMK Color
Model or the Pantone Matching System (PMS), but
that is not the case of the HKT color library. In
other words, despite the fact that the designing
work shown here is based on research, other
people may have slightly different versions.
Another important topic is related to the Major
Arcana. Remember that the process which gave
birth to this deck took a very long time, beginning
with the Lamen, based on the Rosicrucian
Lamen, which has more saturated colors, not
respecting certain subtleties seen at King Scale
of Color. You will find this same saturated
colors in most illustrations of the Tree of Life.
