(Mệnh đề quan hệ xác đònh)
 Mệnh đề quan hệ xác đònh là mệnh đề
được dùng để xác đònh danh từ đứng trước nó và
cần thiết cho ý nghóa của câu, không có nó câu
không đủ nghóa.
 Ta có thể dùng that thay thế cho “who,
whom, which”

II. Non - defining relative clauses
(mệnh đề quan hệ không xác đònh)
 Mệnh đề quan hệ không xác đònh là mệnh
đề cung cấp thêm thông tin về một người hoặc
một vật đã xác đònh và không nhất thiết có trong
câu, không có nó câu vẫn đủ nghóa.
 Note:
 Mệnh đề quan hệ không xác đònh được tách
với mệnh đề chính bằng dấu phẩy (,).
 Ta không dùng “that” thay thế cho “who,
whom, which”.
