Many places are sinking under the weight of their own wastes, we must learn to use

we can use, the more trees have tobe cut down. That’s why we should reduce and recycle
paper to save forests.
Apart from paper, recyclable wastes include glass, plastic and mentals. When you
go shopping, do not buy over – packaged products. If you have th buy heavily packaged

products, do not throw away the packaging, use it for another purpose. For examples,
paper bags can be used for carrying other things, or for making displays. If the packaging
can not be reused, try to sell it for recycling.
The more wastes we produce, the more isposal trucks, labor and dump space are
needed. All these cost money. Besides waste disposal causes all kinds of problems.
Burning waste is illegal many products when burned produce dangerous chemicals that
are harmful to life.

Environmental pollution is a term that refers to all the ways by which man pollutes
his surrounding. Man dirties the air with gases and smokes, poisons the water with

chemicals and other substances and demages the soil with too many fertilizers and
pesticides. Man also pollutes his surroundings in various other ways. For example, people
ruin natural beauty by scattering junk and litter on the land and in the water. They operate
machines and motor vehicles that fill the air with disturbing noise.
Environmental pollution is one of the most serious problems facing mankind today.
Air, water and soil are necessary to the survival of all living things. Badly polluted air can
cause illness and even death. Polluted water kills fish and other marine life. Pollution of
soil reduces the amount of land that is available for growing food. Environmental
pollution also brings ugliness to man’s naturally beautiful world.
