Abstract
Taking language units into consideration, Vietnamese linguists have expressed their
views and made comments on passive sentence types. By approaching and investigating into
the issue, we have discovered that Vietnamese and English passives have a large number of
differences. The article is focused on the diffreences between Vietnamese and English in this
sentence type.
