CHỦ ĐỀ 6 – SO SÁNH
1. So sánh bằng:
- So sánh hai người, hai sự vật có tính chất như nhau
- Cấu trúc: as + adj/ adv + as
- Ví dụ:
+ I am as good as she
+ Jack learns as hard as I do
Bài tập 1: Chọn từ đúng để điền vào chỗ trống:
1. My father is as (strong, stronger, strongest) as his father.
2. You are not as (tall, taller, tallest) as your brother.
3. This clown is not as (funny, funnier, funniest) as the other one.
2. So sánh hơn:
- Dùng để so sánh 2 người, 2 sự vật
- Cấu trúc:
+ Tính từ ngắn: adj-er + than
+ Tính từ dài: more + adj + than
+ Trạng từ kết thúc bằng đuôi –ly: more + adv
Bài tập 2: Dùng cách so sánh hơn cho các tính từ hoặc trạng từ sau:

- Dùng để so sánh nhiều sự vật, nhiều người
- Cấu trúc:
+ Tính từ ngắn: the + adj-est
+ Tính từ dài: the + most + adj
+ Trạng từ kết thúc bởi đuôi –ly: the + most + adv

- Thể hiện mức độ tăng tiến của một sự vật
- So sánh tăng tiến đơn = 2 lần so sánh hơn
+ Với tính từ ngắn: adj-er and adj-er
+ Với tính từ dài: more and more + adj
+ Với trạng từ kết thúc bởi đuôi –ly: more and more + adv
- So sánh tăng tiến kép
The + so sánh hơn + S + V, the + so sánh hơn + S + V
