II) GRAMMAR


Exercise 1. Complete the second sentence so that it

has a similar meaning to the first one, using the words given.
• Example a) :“Keep quiet,” the teacher said to us.
 The teacher told us to keep quiet.
b) “Don’t touch anything, “ the man said to me.
 The man reminded me not to touch anything.

Verb pattern : S + V* + (Obj.) + to /not to inf.
