2- Cách đọc Ngày tháng năm:
a- Thứ + tháng + ngày (số thứ tự) + năm
b- Thứ + ngày (số thứ tự) + of + tháng + năm.
Ví dụ: Wednesday, December 3rd, 2008
a- Wednesday, December the third, two thousand and eight
b- Wednesday, the third of December, two thousand and eight.
3- Các đọc năm trong tiếng Anh
Để đọc năm, ta không đọc theo cách đọc số bình thường mà bốn chữ số được chia đôi để đọc.
Ví dụ:


1992 = 19 và 92 = nineteen ninety two



2014 = 20 và 14 = twenty fourteen

4- Cách dùng giới từ chỉ thời gian: at, on, in
a. Dùng at:


Để chỉ thời gian trong ngày: at 5 o’clock, at 11.45, at midnight(lúc nửa đêm), at sunset
(lúc hoàng hôn)….



Một số thành ngữ:
