Jacques Cousteau ( 1910 – 1997) is a french scientist studying the sea and ocean. He spent
most of his life studying and protecting the ocean. In 1943, he worked with another French
engineer to invent special breathing equipment for divers so that they worked under the sea
for hours. After that, he invented a deep-sea diving vessel, and thanks to it he could explore
the oceans. He also made some documentary films about the ocean, and he got the award “

Last week, Lan had a terrible toothache, so her mother told her to go to the dentist.
She phoned to Doctor Lai to make an appoitment. Dr Lai told her to come to see her at
three o’clock in the afternoon. When lan arrived at the dentist’s . Doctor Lai told her
