VIII. Đặt câu hỏi cho từ gạch chân:
•

Để làm dạng bài tập này các em cần có những kiến thức cơ bản sau:

1. Xác định được từ để hỏi.
2. Từ bị gạch chân không bao giờ xuất hiện trong câu hỏi.
3. Nếu trong câu:

+/ Dùng động từ thường thì ta phải mượn trợ động từ và đảo trợ động từ lên trước
chủ ngữ và sau từ để hỏi.
Eg

:

They play football everyday.

=> What do they play everyday?
+/ Nếu trong câu dùng “động từ tobe”, “động từ khuyết thiếu” ta chỉ cần đảo
“động từ tobe”, “động từ khuyết thiếu” lên trước chủ ngữ và sau từ để hỏi:
Eg

:

She is planting trees now.

=> What is she playing now?
* Động từ khuyết thiếu là: can, may, might, should, have to, must,……


4. Nếu trong câu có từ bị gạch chân dùng những từ sau thì khio chuyển sang câu hỏi ta phải

đổi tương ứng như sau:
a) I, We

=> You

b) me, us

=> you

mine, ours => yours

c)

d) my, our

=> your

e) some

=> any

5. Các từ để hỏi thường gặp trong Tiếng Anh:
A. What

: Cái gì (Dùng để hỏi cho đồ vật, sự vật, sự kiện...)

B. Which

: Cái mà (Dùng để hỏi khi có sự lựa chọn)

C. Where

: Ở đâu (Dùng để hỏi cho vị trí, nơi chốn ...)

D. When

: Khi nào (Hỏi cho thời gian, thời điểm ...)

E. Who

: Ai, người mà (Hỏi cho người)

=> Whom

: Người mà (Hỏi cho tân ngữ chỉ người)

Ex :

I buy him some books.
=> Who/ Whom do you buy any books (for)?

* Him trong câu này là tân ngữ chỉ người vì thế ta có thể chia Who hoặc Whom và for
để trong ngoặc có nghĩa là ta có thể thêm vào câu hỏi hoặc lược bỏ chúng.

=> Whose

: của người mà (Hỏi cho tính từ sở hữu, sở hữu cách, đại từ sở hữu)

* Cấu trúc: It takes Some one ( ai đó) + time+ to do + Some thing (điều gì đó, việc gì)
=> Nó lấy mất của S.O bao nhiêu thời gian để làm S.T

: hỏi cho mức độ, tần suất, số lần
Ex :
I go to school every day.
=> How often do you go to school?
U. How much

: hỏi cho giá cả
Ex :
This book is 3$.( 3 đô la)
=> How much is this book?
=> How much does this book cost?
=> What is the price of this book?
* How much + N (ko đếm được như water, rice..) : hỏi cho số lượng
Ex :
There is some water in the bottle.
=> How much water is there in the bottle?

: hỏi cho số lượng với danh từ đếm được
Ex :
There are two pens on the table.
=> How many pens are there on the table?
