Hi Linda,
Thanks for your postcard from Tenerife. I’m happy you enjoyed your holiday. The aquarium sounds
interesting. I want to visit an aquarium and hug a whale, too!
At the moment I’m at a summer camp in Scotland. It’s fantastic. We do lots of different sports in the
mornings. We do sailing, kite surfing and snorkelling.
In the afternoons we go on excursions. Yesterday I visited Edinburgh. There was a festival with music and
films. I listened to some Scottish music and danced, too. I watched a new Bollywood film - it was funny! On
Monday we visited Loch Ness. The famous monster ‘Nessie’ wasn’t there. There was a dolphin and some
seagulls.
Summer camp finishes on Friday. I’m going home on the new high-speed train. Next week we go on our
family summer holiday. This year it’s Mallorca. I want to see Rafa Nadal!
Write soon with your news from Spain.
Bye, Sarah

To: Linda From: Sarah Subject: My summer holiday
Hi,
Thanks for your email. I’m back from my summer holiday in Mallorca. It was great fun. Our
hotel was very big – it has got swimming pools, restaurants and an internet café. We visited the
cathedral in Palma, some museums and the mountains. I was at the beach and played tennis
(but not with Rafa Nadal!). I was at some restaurants for dinner. The food was delicious. I want
to go to Mallorca again next year.
Write to me about your summer holiday.
Bye, Sarah
