PRONUNCIATION and POEMS
We'll weather the weather whatever the weather...whether we like it or not.
Whether the weather be cool,
or whether the weather be hot,
we'll be together whatever the weather,
whether we like it or not!

Weather Song
What’s the weather?
What’s the weather?
What’s the weather, everyone?
Is it windy?
Is it cloudy?
Is there rain?
Or is there sun?

Whether the weather be mild
Or whether the weather be not,
Whether the weather be cold
Or whether the weather be hot,
We'll weather the weather
Whatever the weather,
Whether we like it or not.
Weather Helper Song
Weather Helper, Weather Helper
What's the weather outside?
Go and look out the window,
Tell us what you see outside.
What's the weather?
What's the weather?
What's the weather tell everyone.

Is it windy? Is it cloudy? Is there rain? Or is
there sun?

When the weather's windy
When the
weather's
grim,
I'm grim.
When the
weather's
fine,
I'm fine.
When the
weather's
cool,
I'm cool.
When the
weather's
hot,
I'm hot.
When the
weather's
windy...
Pardon me!

Weather Forecast for the UK
1.
Much of England and Wales will start dry
and bright with some sunshine. However, thick
cloud and showery rain, already in the SouthWest by dawn, will spread North-East during
the course of the day.
The rain will be heaviest in the West,
whereas eastern parts will be predominantly
dry with just a chance of a shower in the
evening.

3.

A band of rain over South Britain will
clear
from all parts but the South-West.
All other areas will be bright with some
sunshine and a scattering of showers.
These will be most frequent in the North,
and may be heavy in North Scotland.

Cloudy weather with rain will follow.

2.
For most of Britain another dry, warm and
mostly sunny day, although some areas may
start rather misty around dawn, with patchy
cloud at times.
Again, some of the warmest places look like
being sheltered areas such as the Moray Firth
in Scotland and some western and central
parts of England.

4.
North-Western Scotland will be rather
cloudy with a few showers, with the rest of
Scotland dry with plenty of hazy sunshine.
Much of England and Wales will have
another dry and very hot day.
Any cloud will be patchy with almost
unbroken sunshine in most parts.
Sea fog may drift onto coastal areas of the
South and East Anglia at tomes. Coastal areas
in general will be cooler than inland.

TASK. 1. You are on vacation. Write a letter or a postcard to your parents or friends describing the
weather there.
2. Write weather forecast for today or tomorrow.
