I use this quiz after presenting the be going to future
to reinforce the form. We then look at each picture and
ask questions – How do you know he is going to play
tennis? He has a tennis raquet – so that’s his plan –
using the pictures as a jumping off point for
reinforcement of use as well as form.
Other ways I use this is as individual pictures, cut up
with sentences for ss to match. We use the pictures as
part of a running dication – I’ll try to upload the full
size version of the pictures and words to match when I
can get the picture sizes down to a minimum!
At the end, I might give the students the same sheet
with no prompts and they have to write sentences.
