Preposition Pictionary
Pictionary with a twist!
This game focuses on descriptive nouns and preposition
of location.
Divide the class into two teams. A student from each
team comes to the front of the class. One student
chooses a card from the “noun pile” and the other
student takes a card from the “preposition pile” (these
are pre-cut by the teacher). Once both cards are pulled
the students draw their combination. The teams have to
guess the correct sentence, for example, a hairy dog in
the bathtub. Whoever guesses first scores a point. Invite
the next two players to the front and continue the game.
Shuffle the decks and start over.
This set includes 16 cards of nouns and prepositions. Feel
free to edit or add to the set.
The cards are on the following pages.
a big hairy dog
on the table
a giant balloon
behind the door
a polka dot sock
under the bed
