A . THE AIMS:
_ To practise Ss on reading skill and listening skill.
_ To show Ss to guess the meaning in context .
_ To introduce cultural diversity in some countries to Ss .

1. Classroom procedure :( 2 minutes )
- greeting.
- checking the attendance .
2. Checking the previous lesson : (8 minutes )
- Teacher appoints two Ss to check the reading , the vocabulary: U.1 _ Home Life. Each
student reads three paragraphs the text Home Life .
- Teacher corrects Ss’ pronunciation .

5. Home assignment (3 minutes)
-To remind Ss to practice the text learned several times , learn all key words by heart .

textbook .
