Your essay must be written in English.

The time allotted to this section is 90 minutes.

INSTRUCTIONS

In this section, you are given an essay topic, and you are required to compare and contrast

opinions based on your personal experience, or people around you. Make sure that :

Your essay has an introduction, body (2 to 3 paragraphs) and a conclusion.

Your essay is 250 to 300 words long.

The content of the essay is relevant to the essay topic.

The ideas expressed in the essay are logically organized and supported.

The whole essay is coherent and cohesive.

The different paragraphs are logically connected and that the sentence structure and
word choice are accurate.

A particular attention will be given to the visual presentation of the exam answer sheet.

You should write on the following topic:
Some people think that the recent innovations in technology have made life more comfortable
and helped us to be more efficient by saving us time, while others argue that technology has
made us less efficient.
Discuss both these views and give your opinion. Give reasons for your answer and include
any relevant example from your own knowledge and experience. Your essay should be at least
250 words long.
