Test of English as a Foreign Language (Internet Based Test)

The Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL iBT) measures the ability of nonnative speakers of English to use
and understand American English as it is spoken, written and heard in college and university settings. Most people
who take TOEFL iBT are planning to study at colleges where instruction is in English. In addition, many government
agencies use TOEFL iBT scores to evaluate English proficiency.
Currently more than 8000 universities, two and four-year colleges, professional schools, and sponsoring institutions
accept TOEFL iBT scores.
REGISTRATION
In order to register for the test or to simply find out what the exam dates are, you must create your USERNAME and
PASSWORD.
There are three ways you can register for the exam:

Your appointment time will be confirmed at the end of the phone call.

Your completed Test Scheduling Form and money order should arrive at the above address at least four (4) weeks
prior to your desired test date. A letter confirming your appointment time will be sent by fax or by mail.
IDENTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
Peruvian citizens MUST present one of the following official unexpired, government-issued identification documents
that MUST contain a recent recognizable photograph and signature: DNI, passport or driver´s license.
Foreign citizens MUST present their unexpired passport containing a recent, recognizable photograph and signature.
This is the only document that a foreign candidate can present to take this test.
IMPORTANT

-On the date of your testing appointment, you should arrive at the test center thirty (30) minutes before your
scheduled start time.

-When registering, make sure you provide all the names that appear in your official form of identification.
